HELP ONE CHILD: MISSION TO CHILDREN AT RISK
Dedicated to recruiting, training, and supporting those willing to provide a home or volunteer services to at-risk children and youth before, during and after foster care. Offering educational programs and support for caregivers through year-round, volunteer-driven efforts. Help One Child is the sponsor of Safe Families for Children and Safe Families Plus throughout the San Francisco Peninsula and South Bay.

Go to helponechild.org/take-action and review the many steps you can take to help change the outcomes for an at-risk child.
10 DAYS
- Sign up to volunteer with foster children at an upcoming event or program.
- Spread the word about the need for innovative after care! Visit helponechild.org/take-action and RSVP to view "In Plain Sight" and invite others to join you.
- Download the Safe Families Plus summary and ask your church or community group to host a Help One Child orientation to learn more about individual aftercare.

Become a foster parent or open your home to an at-risk child or youth through Safe Families for Children or Safe Families Plus.

Become an advocate for an emancipating youth by helping and encouraging them to determine, pursue and acquire a job and/or apply for college and secure available financial aid.
